Members of CNV Vakmensen want a fair collective labor agreement

Do you also support us to reach a fair collective labor agreement? Then come to Ampleon on Tuesday, February 28, between noon and 1 p.m. and have a French fries in front of the door. Feel free to bring your colleague along.

What's the matter

Suppose: You ask a painting company to paint the outside of your house. They make a quotation. It says they will only paint the front of the house. You then say something about that, but the painting company sticks to the quotation.  Then, of course, you don't go into business with this company.

Something similar is happening at Ampleon. CNV received a quotation in the form of a final offer. In this quotation/final offer there are several things that CNV members do not want, that they did not ask for and that were not negotiated. For that reason, members voted against this quotation/this final offer. Members indicate that there should be constructive negotiations on this quotation /this final offer.

Here are some examples:

Proposal employer regarding travel expenses: not negotiated with unions.

Employer's proposal regarding one-time 500 Euros: not negotiated with us.

Proposal employer phase 2 bonus, convert 1% to structural: not negotiated with us

May 5 employer proposal: not negotiated with unions.

Gym: not negotiated with us.

Endless discussions / bickering until the cows come home

After countless consultations and off-site hey sessions, there is no sign of the agreed upon win-win and a fair collective bargaining agreement. Instead, we are going from final offer to final offer. That is not constructive. Therefore members felt to vote against the second final offer.

Some employer's occasional arguments listed:

- Volume in a CLA is not important (CNV response: in that case we would like all wage increases as early as possible).

- Metalektro CLA we have nothing to do with. NXP we are looking at.

-After completion of the NXP collective labor agreement. We are looking into the Metalektro collective labor agreement; the NXP collective labor agreement is not important.

-Make phase 2 bonus part of the CAO. (CNV reaction: phase 2 bonus is an old agreement, after the new shareholder came in; this is therefore outside the collective labor agreement).

-The shareholder does not want, cannot, may not offer more. The reasons remain vague and not clearly financially substantiated.

So, something has to happen to bring the employer back to the table with a sufficient mandate.
Join us in front of the Ampleon entrance on Feb. 28th at noon to have a snack and make some noise.
